History
Ordered by Eton Garages Ltd and constructed on 27th August 1970, this DB6 Mk2 was one of just 248 examples produced and was delivered to its first owner on 22nd December 1970
Originally registered UB 3 on 16th December 1970 by its first owner, Mr Blume of Salcombe, Devon. Mr Blume owned the DB6 until 2010, an astonishing 40 years in total and fastidiously maintained the car, as evidenced by the numerous invoices and items of correspondence included in the history files
Mr Blume used his DB6 sparingly throughout the 40 years which no doubt contributed to its excellent overall condition and low mileage of just over 45,000 miles from new
The car was sold to its second owner in November of 2010, a noted collector who commissioned marque exponents Desmond.J.Smail to restore the car. Detailed invoices and photographs on file document the process, which included substantial chassis work, a bare metal repaint in Cumberland Grey and full re-trim to a very high standard.
Offered with extensive history and exceptional long term ownership, this superbly restored DB6 Mk2 drives extremely well and is ready for its next long term custodian to use and enjoy
