1984 Aston Martin V8 Vantage

This Series 2 Vantage with manual transmission was originally displayed on the official Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd stand at the 1984 Birmingham NEC Motor Show

Formerly the property of The Marquis of Bristol

Newport Pagnell Works engine upgrade to 580X X-Pack Specification

Complete concours restoration by Clark and Carter 2011-12, fully documented with invoices and photographs

Extensive chassis work completed which included replacement outriggers, jacking points etc bare metal re-paint, fully re-trimmed, new Wilton carpets etc

Full engine rebuild by JMB Services to 5.7L, dyno figures show 414 bhp at 6000rpm and 392.7 lb/ft torque at 5000 rpm

Just over 2100 miles since restoration and outstanding in every respect, this Vantage is one of the finest examples we have encountered and benefits from uprated suspension with stiffer anti roll bars, sports exhaust system and upgraded Becker Sound System
