1999 BMW E39 M5 Individual

The E39 M5 was introduced to the world at the Geneva Motor Show in 1998 and was an instant success. It was the first BMW M5 iteration to be fitted with a V8 that has become synonymous with the model since. The M5’s V8 engine produces 394bhp and 369lb/ft of torque that propels the car down the road from 0-62 mph in just 4.8 seconds and tops out at 155 mph when restricted and an impressive 186 mph when derestricted. The ride quality is drastically improved over the standard 5 series thanks to the M departments development of aluminium front suspension components and a multi-link rear, which, mated to a six speed manual transmission and a limited slip differential, make the car a very engaging drive

Ordered new through BMW Germany directly by its first owner, a British diplomat, our car was ordered in the unique specification of Glacier Green Metallic coachwork with English Green heritage extended leather interior and Individual Alcantara headliner. The interior also benefits from the rare option of Individual wood trim and is complete with the original toolkit and the glovebox torch. It is believed that this is the only E39 M5 to be built in Glacier Green metallic in the world and the first individual specification M5 delivered to the UK
