The Porsche 918 Spyder features a 4.6L V8 engine that spits out 608 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque on its own. However, the 918 Spyder’s power doesn’t end there, it`s paired with a 129-hp front electric motor and a 156-hp rear electric motor, which are powered by a 6.8-kWh lithium-ion battery

Combining everything under its skin, this compact powerhouse stores a total of 887 hp and 944 lb-ft of torque, that’s enough power to go from 0 to 60 mph in as little as 2.5 seconds. Drivers can pick between five drive modes; E-Power, Hybrid, Sport Hybrid, Race Hybrid, and Hot Lap. Adaptive suspension, carbon ceramic brakes and a 7 speed PDK gearbox all combine to determine how much power flow, be it electric, petrol or both, and direction to send to the wheels within each chosen mode
