1967 Aston Martin DB6 Volante

Supplied new in 1967 to Cresmont Holdings of Cresmont House, London N1, specified in Pacific Blue coachwork with Natural hide and ZF 5 Speed manual transmission. One of just 140 DB6 Mk1 Volante models produced 

Offered in superb condition having been maintained by marque exponents R.S.Williams since the late 1980s. Supplied with extensive historical ownership and maintenance records that outline the ‘no expense spared’ attitude taken by its previous custodians

This superb DB6 Volante was acquired in the late 1980s by a highly respected Aston Martin collector who commissioned extensive restoration works in the early 1990s which is supported by correspondence and photos within the file. The Volante was later sold in 2010 to another respected collector who had the car repainted in the current hue of Blu Celeste, a period correct Ferrari colour, and who subsequently commissioned a full mechanical rebuild by RSW to 4.2L 

In more recent years the Volante formed part of a substantial collection belonging to a celebrated musician and discerning car collector and from whom the seller acquired the Volante in 2021 via RSW, after which it resided between the UK and his holiday home in Switzerland, used on high days and holidays 

We were called to action in June 2024 with a specific request to source and supply a superb, original manual transmission DB6 Volante to add to the collection of a highly respected member of the F1 community. With a very tight timeframe to satisfy their request, such was our faith in this car we flew to the sellers holiday home in Switzerland and drove the car back to the UK, covering over 700 ‘roof down’ joyful miles with ease

We were delighted to play a small part in the history of this important open Aston and we have no doubt its latest custodian will have many years of enjoyment with this great Volante
