Finished in Black Pearl with Black leather interior and Black carpeting, restored from a 37,000 mile original example, RSW 4.7L Vantage specification six cylinder big bore engine producing 335 bhp and 335 lb/ft torque, 5-speed ZF transmission
This DBS was unearthed in 2007 having been found in long term storage and was subsequently offered at the 2008 Bonhams Aston Martin Works auction, offered with continuous history, four previous owners and believed 37,000 miles from new. Following the auction it was serviced, recommissioned and presented for a UK MoT where it passed first time
Fast forward two years and the DBS was subsequently purchased by a long term client of Autosport Designs who was living in Paris at the time and the DBS was immediately entrusted to marque exponents RS Williams Ltd for complete restoration
The works included a full cosmetic and structural restoration with various bespoke upgrades including a full mechanical rebuild to RSW 4.7L Vantage specification, RSW handling kit as well as a transmission upgrade from automatic to factory correct ZF manual gearbox, the ensuing works costing in excess of GBP 150,000. One of the finest DBS models extant and offered in the ultimate specification
