Chassis 12241 was ordered new in LHD configuration by His Highness Sheikh Salem Al Ali Al Sabah of Kuwait
Original Vantage specification, 5 speed manual gearbox and electric sunroof finished in Tourmaline blue with magnolia hide
Delivered in London and unused by the Sheikh, the car was returned to the factory after six months and converted to RHD and sold to Sir George Pigot, Bt of Berkshire, a descendent of the family who owned the East India Co.
Uprated by the factory in 1989 to latest X-Pack Specification at the request of Sir Pigot
Total mechanical and structural restoration by Aston Martin Heritage agent Aston Engineering in 2016/2017 which including new sills, jacking points, outriggers etc and full engine rebuild to 5.6L 400BHP + with upgraded suspension and handling kit making this Vantage a very well sorted and exciting car to drive
